Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, writing IWIs and Coaching.
  • Perform industrial painting on production equipment, ceiling, walls, and floors.
  • Maintain proper level of paint, painting supplies, oil, grease, and insulation and re-order those supplies as needed.
  • Support large and small painting, lubrication, and insulation projects by working within a team environment to achieve the department’s goals.
  • Learn to navigate and maintain the facility’s lubrication program (LubeIt) and perform lubrication tasks as directed by the software.
  • Change filters on production and air handling equipment.
  • Must by able to lift and place multiple empty 55-gallon drums onto the drum rack daily.
  • Load empty 55-gallon drums into a trailer using a forklift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the oil pad by pressure washing and keeping all items organized.
  • Install pipe insulation and build insulation pads inside and outside the building in a hot and cold environment.
  • Support all departments by performing odd jobs, including but not limited to, hanging tarps for roof leaks, checking roof drains, installing ceiling tiles, and applying ice melt to walkways during the winter, etc.
  • Supply coverage for the stockroom during breaks, lunches, and while the stockroom attendant is on vacation.
  • Safely operate a pickup truck to make local and long distance runs to deliver or pickup equipment and supplies.
  • Safely operate a forklift, scissor lift and boom lift.
  • Respond to emergencies within a timely manner.
  • Must have basic computer skills in order to source out supplies.
  • Must be able to fill out daily labor distribution time sheets to log daily work using a computer.
  • Will be required to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able complete training required by TATN.
  • Complete daily assignments within a timely manner.
  • Communicate and promote a positive environment for customers and team members.

Skill/Educational Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent or One (1) year at TA/Tennessee Company.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Essential Physical Requirements of the Job:

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds over their head multiple time a day as needed.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
