RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

• Obtain set-up sheets for products.
• Oversee the safe operation of all equipment at all times.
• Troubleshoot and operate equipment as required.
• Work with all operators to maintain a smooth and productive process flow.
• Computer entry of shift performance on daily production report.
• Understand/follow/enforce all company rules and policies at all times.
• Work overtime and different shifts if necessary.
• Supervise safe shift, working in a safe manner.
• Prepare equipment/raw materials/people for future runs before immediate need.
• Follow applicable procedures, work instructions, and test methods to perform and maintain records on in-process production testing and Q.C. inspection of finished product.

SKILL / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma, GED, or at least 3 years previous experience in production or manufacturing preferred.

• Familiarity with plastic extrusion equipment preferred.
• Must be certified in forklift operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be accurate, conscientious, and able to perform multiple tasks.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically capable of lifting and carrying 55 pounds.
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
