Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform color measurements and make critical visual color assessment.
  • Perform quality control testing.
  • Maintain and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and procedures.
  • Computer data entry.

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrate superior color discrimination.
  • Able to pass the Farnsworth/Munsell 100 hue test.
  • Knowledgeable in pigment identification including properties, chemical classes and compatibility with polymers.
  • Prior experience working in quality control or manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented in weighing and cleaning equipment.
  • Strong basic math skills, ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Demonstrate thorough review of work and able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills required; Microsoft Office and able to understand data entry functions.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with accuracy.
  • Make quick decisions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift bags of material up to and including 55 pounds safely.
