Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing custom color formulations

Have a good understanding of what type of pigments are suitable for specific requirements.

Perform color measurements and make critical visual color assessment.

Interpreting color curves.

Maintain and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and procedures.

Computer data entry.

Skills and Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Must have 2-5 years lab experience with a minimum of 1 year color lab experience

Must be able to pass the Farnsworth/Munsell 100 hue test with superior color discrimination

Must be capable of performing all necessary math calculations

Demonstrate thorough review of work and able to follow written and oral instructions.

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Computer skills required; Microsoft Office and able to understand data entry functions.

Ability to perform multiple tasks with accuracy

Make quick decisions

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods of time

Must be able to lift bags of material up to and including 55 pounds safely
